It's snow-storming in NYC. Can you help?

Friends-

Today we got word that the federal government has begun shutting down its disaster centers "due to weather".

No joke.

This is serious, people. Nearly 1,000,000 New Yorkers are still without power, and the snow and cold air are literally freezing us.

Will you commit to volunteering with us tomorrow?

We are opening our doors at 520 Clinton Ave in Brooklyn - between Fulton & Atlantic - at 9am tomorrow to train and dispatch volunteers to head to the neediest areas.

You are needed more than ever to avert a humanitarian crisis in our city.

With love and humility,

Justin Wedes

  • I very much want to volunteer tomorrow in whatever capacity I can however I only just moved to NYC and am pretty unequipped for these weather conditions - I don't have snow or rain boots. Do you think there's some way I can still be useful? I can do admin, make tea, babysit children, clean and whatever else you might need! Please let me know
