Dear Sandy Volunteers,
It's been over 2 weeks since we began to mobilize our Occupy Sandy recovery effort, and the results have been tremendous: over 50,000 registered volunteers, dozens of recovery sites and so many lives touched.
Some of the things they're saying about us:
“It may look like chaos…But it is organized chaos.” -DNAInfo
"A lauded and effective relief organization" -NBC New York
"Where FEMA fell short, Occupy Sandy was there" -NYTimes
(To see all the press hits and add your own, visit http://notes.occupy.net/p/SandyVolunteerPress)
This is far from over, though, and we need you for the long haul to help us rebuild our communities stronger and more sustainable to both environmental and political disasters.
Will you commit to joining us for the long haul?
If so, please fill out this form if you haven't already:
With infinite gratitude and appreciation,
Justin Wedes A SandyVolunteer
