Looking for the next Sandy leaders...

It's been nearly 3 weeks since Hurricane Sandy hit, and over 60,000 of you have come out, signed up, and gone to work rebuilding NYC with us.

With so many volunteers - and so much work still left to do - we need leaders. Not the type who rule from on high, but from deep in the trenches of this important mission.

Do you have what it takes to organize hundreds of shipments of goods? Do you know carpenters and electricians, doctors and social workers, accountants and fundraisers, who are ready to plug in to a decentralized, people-powered network for social change?

Then we need you. Come join us, and bring your friends, to 520 Clinton, St. Jacobi Church, or one of our many recovery sites around the city. (Find them at http://interoccupy.net/occupysandy/occupy-sandy-map/ )

Together we rebuild stronger and more sustainably,

Justin Wedes SandyVolunteer
